Mit dieser Option wird die Host-Controller-SCSI-ID geändert. In der folgenden Abbildung
sind die verfügbaren IDs für AHA-3950U2B zu sehen. Die Standard-SCSI-ID ist 7.
Es empfiehlt sich nicht, diese Einstellung zu ändern. Manche Betriebssystem-
Softwareprodukte laufen nicht, wenn die SCSI-Controller-ID nicht auf 7 gesetzt ist.

Auswahl der Host-Adapter-SCSI-ID für AHA-3950U2B
Jedes SCSI-Gerät auf dem SCSI-Bus (auch der SCSI-Controller) muss eine eindeutige
SCSI-ID aufweisen. Die SCSI-ID hat zwei Aufgaben: Sie identifiziert die einzelnen
SCSI-Geräte auf dem Bus und bestimmt die Gerätepriorität auf dem Bus während der
Arbitrationsphase. In der Arbitrationsphase wird bestimmt, welches Gerät den Bus
kontrolliert, wenn zwei oder mehr Geräte Busnutzung anfordern.
Wenn Sie die SCSI-ID ändern müssen, wählen Sie sie mit den Cursortasten (↑ ↓) und der
Enter-Taste aus. Mit Esc wechseln Sie zurück zum vorherigen Menü.
