Getting Started
Each MX module has a similar back panel with a power connector, two
FireWire connectors, and one Ethernet connector.
All MX modules have the following in common:
S Low voltage connection
S Configurable Ethernet interface for data communication with an operating
PC
S Two FireWire interfaces
- For optional voltage supply (note data sheet)
- For optional data communication with a PC
- For synchronization of the modules
- For internal measured data transmission
S Status LEDs to display current module status
S A factory calibration certificate is stored on each amplifier, which can be
read out by the MX Assistant
S AutoBoot (module configurations are retained)
With amplifiers, the following applies for each measurement channel:
S Electrical isolation
- Signal inputs electrically isolated to the voltage supply and communica­
tion
- Signal inputs electrically isolated to each other (except MX1615B-R)
