Just Power On
• For Roof/Rigid Panels:
If you choose roof/rigid panels to be the solar power source to charge your
EP500, you can easily connect your panels with the MC4-to-Aviation cable to
your EP500.
The optional PV Module (additional accessory) is required to step down the
voltage if the open circuit voltage produced by your roof panels exceeds the limit
of EP500 can handle: 55-145VDC, 20A.
Note: The PV Module does NOT work with solar panels that have built-in
microinverters, or have an open circuit voltage over 550V.
