Setting Up the Module

5.1 Switching on for the first time

Switch on the main device into which the mod-
ule has been installed. The module will boot up
and the welcome screen of the setup wizard
will appear:

Notes:
1. If the module is in the standby mode (display back-
light off) after booting, press the button POWER
to switch it on.
2. If a text scrolls across the display after switching on
("Privacy notice": information on the data protec-
tion regulations of the chipset manufacturer), press
the button CONTROL SELECT to confirm. The text
will disappear, and the welcome screen of the setup
wizard (fig. 4) will appear.
To set up the module via the setup wizard see
chapter 5.2. If a menu language other than Eng-
lish is desired before starting the setup wizard
see chapter 5.1.1.

5.1.1 Changing the menu language

1) To exit the setup wizard (fig. 4), turn the knob
CONTROL SELECT to select the command
button and press the knob to confirm.

2) The following prompt will appear:

wizard to appear again the next time you
switch on the main device? If you do, confirm

Note: The setup wizard can be called up at any
time via the menu for the system settings.
3) The main menu will appear. Turn the knob

5) Select the language desired and confirm your
selection. The following languages are avail-
able: English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French,
German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portu-
guese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.
Once the selection has been confirmed,
the menu for the system settings will appear
in the language selected.
6) To start the setup wizard after changing the
menu language, select the corresponding
line for the setup wizard in the menu for
the system settings and confirm your selec-
tion: The welcome screen of the setup wizard

will appear, and the module can be set up
