Installing the Module

WARNING
The module must always be in-
stalled by qualified experts. Risk
of electric shock!
1) Disconnect the device into which the module
is to be installed (PA amplifier /extension) from
the power supply and remove the housing
cover of the device.
2) Unscrew the cover plate for the module com-
partment on the front panel of the amplifier /
extension. Insert the module and screw it on.
3) Via the 3-pole connector (arrow 3 in fig. 1),
the module is supplied with its operating
voltage and the audio signal is routed to the
amplifier. Connect the exposed 3-pole cable
of the amplifier /extension to this connector.
4) To install the connection plate provided, re-
move the cover plate "ANT. Terminal" on the

rear of the amplifier /extension (
Caution: Sharp edges may occur
when the plate is removed. Risk of
injury!
Insert the connection plate into the opening
and fasten it with the screws provided.

5) Connect the plug of the 2-pole cable from
the inserted connection plate to the corre-
sponding connector (arrow 1 in fig. 1) of the
module.
6) Connect the RJ45 connector on the inside
of the connection plate to the RJ45 connec-
tor (arrow 2 in fig. 1) on the module (cable
provided).
7) Close the housing cover of the device into
which the module has been installed.
8) Connect the antenna for FM and DAB re-
ception to the antenna connector ANT on
the connection plate. A basic wire antenna
is supplied with the module.
9) Connect the RJ45 connector LAN on the
connection plate to a network (Internet).
Alternatively, a network connection can be
established via wireless LAN. To do this, screw
the antenna provided onto the connector
(arrow 4 in fig. 1) on the front of the module
and put the antenna in a vertical position.
