INITIAL SETUP

Immediately after switching on for the first time, as well as after resetting to factory settings (page 23), the
device starts in the initial setup.

Step 1
The first step is to make basic settings such as the menu
language, the region where the device is operated and the
resolution of the HDMI port. Then press the OK button to
proceed to the next step.
Antenna Voltage
Activates the 5 Volt antenna voltage via the RF input of the
device, e.g. to supply an active antenna with power.
LCN
Logical Channel Numbering means that a pre-sorted channel
list given by the antenna operator can be loaded automatical-
ly. This is to keep the channel list conveniently up to date,
but it also usually prevents the sorting of own channel lists.
Search only free channels
During the subsequent channel search, only free-to-air chan-
nels are stored in the channel list. The device cannot decode
PayTV channels, so the function should remain activated.
Step 2
The device will now perform an automated channel scan ba-
sed on the settings made previously. This may take a few
minutes.
Please wait for the process to complete. At the end, a window
will appear with the number of stations found. Finally, press
the OK button on the remote control to finish the initial setup.

Program information

When you change channels or press the INFO button, EPG
information about the current and next program will be dis-
played. In addition to the information such as TV program title,
date and time, current time, running time of the current and
following program, the device also shows icons, e.g. whether
teletext or subtitles are available.
For more information about the current program and reception
parameters, press the INFO button on the remote control
again.
Note:
The extent to which program information is available in the
EPG depends on the TV station in question. EPG is not
available with analog TV signals.
