Normally, the GMT Usage function should retrieve the region data automatically. If this is not the case you
can deactivate the function and configure time & date manually. In this menu you can also de/activate the
time display in standby. Due to the energy saving regulation of the EU, this function is deactivated by
default.
System settings / Information
In this menu you will find information about the firmware version of the device. Please check the download
page of the device regularly to see if a more recent firmware is available.
System settings / Factory settings
In this menu you can restore the factory settings if the device has a malfunction or you want to sell it. When
restoring, all settings and the user-defined channel list will be lost. Enter the default PIN (page 22) and
confirm the prompt with "Yes". The device will then restart with the initial installation (page 20).
System settings / OSD settings
In this menu, you can set the display time of the program information display when switching and set the
menu transparency. The channel switching mode determines what should be displayed during picture/
sound synchronization when switching channels.
System settings / USB update
In this menu you can update the firmware via a connected USB data carrier. Please check the download
page of the device regularly to see if a more recent firmware is available.
System settings / Automatic sleep mode
After 3 hours of operation without pressing any key, the device automatically switches to stand-by mode to
save energy. This is a requirement of the EU. You can change this time period in this menu or switch off
the function.

Due to the large number of different video and audio formats, individual video files may not be
supported.
•
Displaying high-resolution photos can take a long time.
•
We recommend resolutions suitable for television (e.g. 1280x720 or 1920x1080 pixels).

Dolby Digital sound is output as a bitstream via HDMI, e.g. if you have connected a
Dolby Digital decoder to the HDMI output.
Automatically selects between decoding and bitstream audio output, depending on
the availability of the respective TV station.
Media Center
The "Media Center" menu item is only active if a USB 2.0 mass
storage device has been connected to the device. Select the
desired media type (movies, photos, music) in the menu. The
media are listed in the right window. Use the ▲/▼ keys to
select the media for playback.
