General information
Make sure that all devices are switched off and disconnected from the mains during installation. Read
the operating instructions for your TV or satellite system and observe the safety instructions there.
Ensure that the plug connections are connected carefully.
Inserting the batteries
Insert the batteries into the compartment. Please pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-) when insert-
ing the battery.

Slide the battery door back on (figure).
2.
Always point the remote control at the sensor field (IR) of the device.
3.
The distance to the device should not exceed 5 meters and the operation angle should not
exceed 60°.
4.
Remove the batteries from the remote control if you are not going to use the device for a long
time.
Notes:
Remove and replace old batteries. These could leak and damage the remote control.
Remove leaking battery fluid with a cloth. Avoid skin contact with the with the liquid.
If the battery or battery fluid is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
In case of skin/eye contact, wash out the skin/eyes and seek medical attention.
