Preparing a coffee beverage

1. Fill the water tank up to the MAX marking.
2. If applicable, fill the milk tank with milk.
3. Insert the coffee filter with the filter and coffee grounds into the
unit.
4. Put a suitable cup on the placement grille.
5. Direct the milk nozzle towards the cup, if applicable.
6. Connect the power plug to the power outlet.
7. Turn the unit on with the ON/OFF switch. The operating display
flashes during the heat-up phase. When the heat-up phase is
complete, the operating display lights up permanently.
8. Now you can prepare a coffee beverage. Press the corresponding
symbol and beverage preparation will start. When making a
cappuccino first the coffee is prepared followed by the milk. For a
latte macchiato it is the other way around.
9. When the preparation is complete, the operating display lights up
permanently. The coffee beverage is ready.
10. To prematurely cancel the preparation, press the symbol for the
selected beverage again.

Preparing hot milk/milk foam

You can prepare only hot milk/milk foam with this device.
1. Hold the button for a large cappuccino (17) for 3 seconds, and the
device will start to make milk/milk foam, for instance for hot
chocolate or chai latte.
2. Press the button again to stop the process.
Tip: You can either dispose of the leftover milk in the milk tank, or put the
entire milk tank into the refrigerator until the next usage.
