Usage and operations

Prepare the unit

Before making coffee for the first time, take the following steps to clean
the interior system:
1. Fill the water tank with fresh water. Observe the MIN and MAX
markings.
2. Fill the milk tank with water as well. Observe the MIN and MAX
markings.
3. Put a filter into the filter holder and insert it into the unit without
coffee, as described below.
4. Put a large cup on the placement grille.
5. Direct the milk nozzle onto the cup with the operating lever.
6. Connect the power plug to the power outlet.
7. Turn the unit on with the ON/OFF switch. The operating display for
coffee preparation will flash.
8. Once the operating display stays permanently lit up, press the
large cappuccino button. The corresponding operating display will
flash.
9. Once the procedure ends, the operating display lights up
permanently and you can prepare the first coffee beverage.
