Initial Start-up

Intended usage

This device is intended for making coffee beverages and hot milk/milk
foam, primarily for usage in households and the like, non-commercial
areas such as offices or other professional environments, agricultural
premises, hotels, motels and other living facilities, bed and breakfast guest
houses. Use the device according to the instructions provided here in
order to prevent hazards. Furthermore, the warranty claim expires in the
event of improper usage.

Unpacking

1. Remove the device, accessory parts and operating instructions
from the packaging.
2. Remove all packaging materials and the protective film, but not
the type plate.
3. Check to ensure that all parts have been delivered.
4. Use the operating instructions to become familiar with the device.
Save the operating instructions for later use.
5. Clean the unit and accessory parts before initial use, as described
in the "Cleaning and maintenance" chapter.
