• Never submerge the electrical parts of the device in
water or other liquids. There is a risk of electric shock.
• Separate the device from the power supply when you
are not using it, before moving or cleaning it, or if it is
malfunctioning, for instance if you hear unusual
sounds.
• The connection data (voltage and frequency) on the
type plate must correspond to your electricity grid.
• The device must be operated from a power outlet with
a protective conductor.
• The power outlet must be secured with a 10A fuse.
• Do not pull the plug out of the power outlet by the
cable - instead pull it out by the plug, and never with
wet hands.
• Switch the unit off before pulling out the power plug.
• Do not touch hot surfaces during operation, e.g. the
coffee spout: Burn hazard.
• Do not remove the filter holder while brewing:
Burn hazard. Even after brewing, use great caution as
the metal parts are still hot, for instance the milk
nozzle.
• The device cannot be transported while operating:
Burn hazard!
• Never operate the unit without water. Observe the
minimum and maximum filling marks. Ensure that the
water tank is inserted correctly.
