5.1.2 Cleaning the air filters

To ensure that the ice maker works correctly in terms of
performance and duration, the air filters located on the
side walls of the ice maker must be cleaned (Fig.11).
To remove the filter, simply pull it out and wash it with
a jet of warm water, then dry it before putting it back.
Recommended frequency: operation to be performed
every 10 days. or in any case according to the working
conditions of the appliance (the presence of dust and
flour in the work environment of the appliance affects
dirt accumulation in the filter).

5.1.2 Cleaning the ice container

- Remove the ice from the bin. Clean the inside with a
sponge moistened in warm water combined with a little
baking soda;
- rinse with clean water and properly dry it.
5.2 Operations to be performed by the
enabled installer
Hereinafter we present a list of routine mainte-
nance operations which must be performed only by
authorised installers. The manufacturing company
declines all responsibility for incidents caused by
the failure to comply with the above-mentioned ob-
ligation.

5.2.1 Cleaning the air condenser (if present)

- In order to make the most of your ice maker in terms
of performance and durability, it is necessary to period-
ically clean the air condenser placed at the back of the
ice maker (see fig.18).
- do not use brushes or blunt objects to clean the con-
denser (fig. 17).

5.2.2 Cleaning the water inlet filter

- Close the water shut-off valve to the device, remove
the water inlet pipe and extract using pincers the filter-
ing trap placed on the water inlet solenoid valve.
- clean the trap with water jet and mount it back in its
seat.

5.3 Ozone activation (optional)

If the ozone generator is installed, it shall be activated
periodically in the following sequence: 5 hours inac-

The sequence is synchronized with the first power
supply of the machine (power-ON).

5.4 Cleaning and sanitising cycle

To remedy the problems caused by the hardness of
the feed water and therefore the formation of impu-
rities on the parts and components in contact with
the water, the machine has been equipped with a
"self cleaning" function. This function, thanks to
the cleaning action of a specific product, a sachet
of powder product and the dosing bottle, allows the
machine to be kept clean and sanitised from limes-
cale and scale.
To guarantee good cleaning of the ice maker, it is rec-
ommended performing a cleaning cycle at least 3-4
times a year depending on the hardness of the feed
water.
Cleaning kit (optional)
The kit consists of a plastic bottle with a rubber tube,
a 1 kg box of citric acid and the instructions for the
cleaning cycle.
Take the necessary precautions when handling
the citric acid when preparing the solution (wa-
ter+citric acid, please see the table) wearing safety
gloves and glasses.
In the event that a cleaning cycle is started
accidentally (by pressing the button for >9"),
there are two ways to exit the procedure:
1) after about 1h40' by pressing the button for
3" the machine will go back to standby, and by
