• Never shut off the water when the machine is oper-
ating and do not obstruct the air intakes.
• In order to prevent the ice from absorbing unpleas-
ant odours and flavours, never keep it in a food, bottle
and other similar bin.
!
Check the tightness of the straps, nuts and
bolts, screws and clamps that may have come
loose during transportation to avoid water leaks or
other problems during machine operation.
i
Note: For a perfect water outflow from the device, pro-
vide a minimum 3% slope of the pipe checking that it is not
subject to bottlenecks or siphoning. It is recommended that
the pipe discharges into an open siphon (fig.7).
The normal stop of the production of ice can occur ei-
ther when the machine switches to standby mode, by
pressing the illuminated button for 3 seconds, or when
the ice bin is full, which is indicated by the following:
• The evaporator deflector fails to close due to the ac-
cumulation of ice
• If there is a sensor in the bin, the sensor set point is
reached (it is usually optional).
If the ice maker is equipped with a temperature probe
in the ice bin, the machine and the ice production stop
when the sensor comes into contact with the ice that
has accumulated in the bin. After removal, clear the
control sensor from any ice residues so that produc-
tion can resume faster.
Never stop the water with the machine into operation,
do not obstruct the air suction inlets.
Check that there are no abnormal vibrations due
to loosened screws.
In case of intervention due to water leaks, tighten-
ing of screws or other, always stop the machine first.
Check an ice cycle by checking that the cubes are
discharged into the bin.
If present, check the operation of the bin probe:
lay an ice cube on the bulb inside the bin, the ice mak-
er should stop within 1 minute and restart automatical-
ly after its removal, in a short time.

4.1 Ice cubes adjustment

As the room temperature changes, the size and weight
of the ice cubes may in turn change.
To adjust this size and weight, follow the procedure
below:
a) Press, with the machine running, the button
(Fig.9) 3 times within 2 seconds; the button will take
on a colour between white and red.
b) To decrease the weight of the ice cube, press the
button, making the colour increase towards red; to in-
crease the weight, press it until the colour approaches
white. After 5 seconds of no pressing, it saves and ex-
its the modification phase. (fig.9)

4.2 Water hardness indication

To extend the routine maintenance interval, it is pos-
sible to indicate the water hardness level, so that the
machine can decide which water renewal process to
activate for each cycle, in order to reduce the salt con-
centration level in the water and the consequent de-
posit of limescale:
a) Press, with the machine running, the button
(Fig.9) 6 times within 2 seconds; the button will take
on a colour between white and red.
b) To indicate that the water has a high concentration
of salts, press the button (Fig.9), making the colour in-
crease towards red, otherwise press it until the colour
approaches white, for water with a low concentration
of salts. After 5 seconds of no pressing, it saves and
exits the modification phase.

4.3 Bin Probe Adjustment (optional)

Over time, due to the variation in the ambient temper-
ature, the set of the bin probe, which stops production,
may not be sufficient. To adjust this value follow the
procedure below:
a) Press, in standby, the button (Fig.9) 3 times within
2 seconds; the button will take on a colour between
white and red.
b) To increase the set T°, press the button (Fig.9),
making the colour increase towards red; to decrease
it, press it until the colour approaches white. After 5
seconds of no pressing, it saves and exits the modifi-
cation phase.

5 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance oper-
ations, disconnect the machine from the power supply
by operating the main switch and unplugging it.
If the socket is at a distance or in a position
that cannot be controlled by the operator or the
appliance is not equipped with a plug, a device for
electrical padlocking must be installed to avoid
accidental connection of the appliance.

5.1 Operations to be performed by the user

5.1.1 External body cleaning

- in order to clean the body, it is enough to use a cloth
soaked into a specific chlorine-free product, for stain-
less steel.
