Operation
The grill rack is not suitable for micro-
wave mode.
■ Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode.

Fast cooking

This function allows you to start cooking im-
mediately, without having to make any fur-
ther adjustments. With fast cooking, food is
cooked for 30 seconds at maximum power.
• Press the "Start/+30sec./Confirm" but-
ton (13).
The cooking process starts; the remaining
cooking time counts down on the display.

Extending the cooking time

You can extend the cooking time in 30-sec-
ond increments while cooking. However, this
is not possible with automatic programs.
• To extend the cooking time, press the
"Start/+30sec./Confirm" button (13) during
the cooking process.
The remaining cooking time is extended by
30 seconds.
• You can extend the cooking duration once
again if needed.

Setting the power level

■ Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode.
Your microwave oven has 5 power levels:
– P100 (100 %, 700 watt) for quick cooking
or reheating, e.g. for soups, stews, canned
dishes, hot drinks, vegetables, fish, etc.
– P80 (80 %, 560 watt) for longer cooking of
more compact food, such as roasts, meat-
loaf and plate dishes; can even be used for
delicate dishes such as cheese sauces or
cakes with creamed batter. With this low-
er setting, sauces do not boil over and the
food cooks evenly without becoming hard
at the edge or overflowing.
– P50 (50 %, 350 watt) for more compact
food, which requires a long cooking time
when cooking on the stove, e.g. beef dish-
es; this power level is recommended so
that the meat remains tender.
– P30 (30 %, 210 watt) to cook rice, pasta
and dumplings and to cook baked egg pud-
ding.
– P10 (10 %, 70 watt) for gentle defrosting,
e.g. for cream cakes or puff pastry.
1. Press the "Microwave/Grill/Combi" button
(17) to choose the power level.
