Troubleshooting

Cause
The grinding discs are worn or damaged.
The bearing is defective.
Unwanted material deposit on the coupling.
The diamond tools are worn.
The incorrect type of diamond tools for the
surface.
The emergency stop button is engaged.
A defective component.
BG 250: Only 1 phase comes into the prod-
uct.
BG 250: The extension cable is disconnected
or damaged.
BG 250Petrol: There is no fuel in the fuel
tank.
BG 250Petrol: There is no oil in the oil tank.
BG 250: The motor protection switch is in
operation because of overload.
BG 250: The motor has a defect.
BG 250Petrol: Incorrect fuel tank cap.
Too small number of diamond tools on grind-
ing head.
The incorrect type of diamond tools for the
surface.
Solution
Examine the grinding discs for damaged
parts and too much movement.
Do a check of the bearing on the axle drive
shaft and replace if it is necessary.
Clean the coupling.
Replace the worn parts.
Replace the diamond tools with correct dia-
mond tools for the surface.
Turn the emergency stop button clockwise to
disengage.
Replace the defective component.
Do a check of the power supply.
Connect the extension cable or if it is neces-
sary, replace the extension cable.
Fill the fuel tank with fuel. Refer to
BG 250Petrol on page 42 .
Fill the oil tank with oil. Refer to
check of the oil level (BG 250Petrol) on page
50 .
Decrease the load.
Do a check of the motor.
Make sure to the fuel tank cap is fully tight-
ened when you operate the product.
Use the correct number of diamond tools.
