– Every time tyres are replaced, check the gap between the
Mover and the tyres and, if necessary, have it adjusted by a
specialist shop.
– At least every 2 years have an expert check that there is no
rust on the Mover XT4, that the attachments are still firmly
attached and that all safety-relevant parts are undamaged.
If the gap between the drive rollers and tyres is too
large or if the tyre pressure is too low, there is a risk
that the drive rollers will not engage completely with the right
pressure which could cause considerable property damage
and / or injury due to sliding drive rollers.

Emergency disengagement

If the caravan battery is discharged to the extent that electri-
cal disengagement no longer works or a defect is present, the
drive rollers can also be disengaged manually.
Before manual disengagement, secure both wheels of
the caravan to stop it rolling. Engage the parking brake
and put wedges under both wheels. If this is not observed,
there is a risk of injury and property damage.
Prise out the plastic cap (m) at the rear end of the cover using
a screwdriver. Attach the socket spanner (WAF 7 – included in
scope of delivery) to the hex bolt and disengage the drive unit
by rotating clockwise Repeat the procedure for all drive units.

Once the battery has been charged or the fault remedied, the
rollers can be engaged electrically again.

Troubleshooting

Check that the batteries in the remote control are in good
condition.
Check that the 13-pole plug / adapter of the caravan is
plugged into the safety socket.
Check that the caravan battery is in good condition and is
fully charged. Please note that battery performance can dete-
riorate considerably at cold ambient temperatures.
Check that the fuse in the battery connector cable is in order.
If the fuse is defective, check the connector cable for possible
short circuits.
In the event of a system error (remote control LED 3 lights up
red), engage the parking brake, switch off the remote control
and switch it back on again after 2 seconds
Perform a reset with the parking brake applied, which takes
approx. 10 seconds (briefly disconnect battery or disconnect
and reconnect the safety plug)
If these actions do not remedy the problem, please contact
Truma Service.
Pairing the electronic control unit with the
radio remote control
The remote control and control unit are paired in the
factory.
If the control unit or remote control are replaced, they must
be paired again as described below.
Make sure that the drive rollers are not touching the wheel.
Check that the battery is properly connected and in good con-
dition, and that the control unit is being supplied with 12 V.
Make sure that the caravan plug is plugged into the safety
socket.
– Switch off the remote control.
– Switch on the control unit and wait for about 15 seconds
until the red LED (j) starts flashing slowly.
– Press the reset button (k) on the control unit until the red
LED (j) flashes rapidly.
– Hold the engaging button (i) on the remote control de-
pressed and switch on the remote control with the slide
switch (a). Release the engaging button (i).
– Once the devices are paired, the red LED (j) on the control
unit and the green LED on the remote control (LED 4) re-
main permanently on.
