The liability of the manufacturer and resulting damages
are excluded in the event of modifications of the machine.
The machine may only be operated with original parts
and original accessories from the manufacturer.
The safety, operating and maintenance specifications
of the manufacturer, as well as the dimensions speci-
fied in the technical data, must be observed.
Please observe that our equipment was not designed
with the intention of use for commercial or industrial
purposes. We assume no guarantee if the equipment
is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for
equivalent work.

5. General safety information

General:
• Read the entire operating manual before working
with the device.
• Persons who are unfamiliar with the operating man-
ual may not use the product.
• Observe all safety information and danger notices
on the machine.
• The device must only be used appropriately and in
compliance with the operating manual instructions
in full knowledge of the safety and hazards.
• Ensure that all of the safety and danger notices on
the machine are complete and in legible condition.
• The operating personnel must be at least 18 years of
age. Trainees must be at least 16 years of age and
may only work on the machine under supervision.
• Do not work on the device while under the influence
of alcohol, drugs or medication.
Commissioning:
• Do not dismantle any safety devices or make them
unusable.
• Check the function of the device before commission-
ing.
• Ensure adequate lighting at the workstation.
• Always keep the work station clean.
• Caution when working: Danger of injury from moving
parts
• When working with the device, do not exceed the
capabilities of the device.
• Run the device only completely mounted.
• Do not place your hands or feet under the cutting
knife or cutting material.
• Keep the working area clean
• Always place the stoneware in the middle of the de-
vice and not at the end of the cutting knife.

• Bystanders should keep a safety distance of at least
5 meters from the device because of flying parts.
• Remove the socket pipe when you are not using the
stone cutter.
• Do not leave the ready-to-use stone cutter unattend-
ed.
Protective clothing:
• Wear work gloves when working.
• Wear protective goggles when working.
• Wear safety shoes
Repair and maintenance:
• Reinstall all protection and safety devices after fin-
ishing maintenance work.
• Repairs may only be carried out by authorised spe-
cialists.
Residual risks
The electric tool has been built according to state-
of-the-art and the recognised technical safety
rules. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
• Danger of injury from moving parts.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety in-
structions" and the "Proper use" are observed along
with the operating instructions.

Unpacking

• Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-
vice.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
