• Insufficient gas supply pressure.
• Clogged injector.
• Faulty gas valve.
The pilot burner goes out after releasing the ignition
knob
Possible causes:
• Thermocouple not sufficiently heated by the pilot
burner.
• Faulty thermocouple.
• The gas knob is not pressed sufficiently.
• Lack of gas pressure at the valve.
• Defective gas valve.
The pilot burner is still ON but the main burner does
not light up
Possible causes:
• Lack of pressure in gas duct.
• Clogged injectors or defective gas valve.
• Clogged gas outlet holes on burner.

8.2 - CHANGE OF COMPONENTS

Attention!
Spare parts must only be changed by authorized
service personnel, using original components.
Piezoelectric igniter
• Remove the knobs, the control panel and the front
panels.
• Replace the component and fasten the cable again
with suitable clamps.
• Reassemble the components and the panels in
reverse order
Ignition plug (Fig. 9 "1")
• Working through the bottom of the appliance:
• Remove the plug cable.
• Unscrew the fastening nut "6".
• Replace
the component
proceeding in reverse order.
and reassemble by
Thermocouple (Figs. 7 and 9)
• Remove the knobs, the control panel and the lower
panel.
• Loosen the screws "7" on the pilot unit "3" of the gas
valve.
• Replace the component and fasten the new
component with suitable clamps.
• Reassemble the components and the panels in
reverse order.
Pilot burner (Fig. 9 "3")
• Working through the bottom of the appliance:
• Unscrew and remove the thermocouple "2", the gas
connection "4" and the igniter plug "1".
• Remove the injector "5" and save it. Remove the pilot
burner "3" and replace it with the new one.
• Reassemble everything by proceeding in reverse
order.
• Check for possible leaks.
Main burner (Fig. 8)
• Working through the bottom of the appliance:
• Remove screws that fasten the burner to the support
and extract the burner from the appliance.
• Remove the screws that fasten each burner element
to the header.
• Install the burner by proceeding in reverse order.
Gas valve (Fig. 7)
• Remove the knobs and the control panel.
• Unscrew the duct of the pilot burner "2" and
thermocouple "3".
• Unscrew the gas inlet and outlet connections "4" and
"5".
• Remove the screw which fastens the valve to the
support.
• Replace the component and reinstall the new one by
proceeding in reverse order.
• Before reassembling the panels check for possible
leaks.
