5 - INSTALLATION

5.1 - PLACE OF INSTALLATION

• Install the machine only in properly ventilated places.
• The connection and installation of the machine and its
ventilation and smoke discharge must be provided
according to the manufacturer's instructions and in
compliance with applicable standards.
(GB):
Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, 1984;
Health and Safety at Work Act, 1974; Codes of
Practice, BS6173, 1982; The Building Regulations,
1985; The Building Standards Regulations, 1981.

5.2 - POSITIONING

• Place the appliance under an exhaust hood to
guarantee the extraction of all vapours generated
during the operation of the appliance.
• Adjust the height of the appliance and level it by
means of its adjustable feet or other means.
• Peel off the protective film from the external panels. If
any adhesive compound remains attached, it can be
removed with appropriate solvents.
• Any walls next to the appliance must be made of
flameproof materials and shielded from the heat.
Place sheets of refractory materials between the
machine and the walls or allow a clearance of at least
200 mm around the back or side walls of the
appliance.
ATTENTION
The temperature at floor level can exceed 65°C. If
the floor material is not fireproof or is not made to
withstand this temperature, place an insulating
material with a thickness of at least 10 mm (e.g.,
ceramic), or reflecting material (e.g., steel) between
the appliance and the floor (Fig. 2).

5.3 - HYDRAULIC CONNECTION AND DRAIN

(Installation drawing - page 2)
• Connect the water infeed pipes "1" and "2" to the
main through on-off valves and suitable mechanical
filters.
• It is advisable, before connecting the last pipe section
to the pan connections, to allow a certain quantity of
water to flow out in order to flush the pipes and clear
them of any ferrous impurities that could initiate
corrosion processes on the stainless steel surfaces.
• Install a drain with a stench trap under the tank
emptying tap.
• The drainage pipes must be made of heat-
resistant material (to withstand at least 100°C).
