To do a check of the machine stop button
1. Disconnect the product from the mains outlet.
2. Make sure that the cutting blade is slightly above the
ground.
3. Make sure that the cutting blade and the blade
flange are tightly attached and the blade guard is
correctly installed. Refer to
on page 12 and To install the blade guard on page
14 .
4. Connect the power plug of the product into the mains
outlet.
5. Turn the machine stop button (STOP) clockwise to
make sure that it is disengaged.
6. Push the ON/OFF button to "I" to start the product.
7. Push the machine stop button and make sure that
the motor stops.
8. Turn the machine stop button clockwise to
disengage.
Blade guard
WARNING:
without a blade guard or with a defective
blade guard. Make sure that the blade guard
is installed and attached correctly before you
start the product.
The blade guard prevent parts, of the blade or the
material that is cut, to be thrown at the operator.
To do a check of the blade guard
• Make sure that the blade guard is correctly installed
and attached. Refer to
page 14 .

• Examine the blade guard for damages, such as
cracks.
• Replace a damaged blade guard.
• Replace the blade guard if it is hit, bent or has other
defects.
Drive belt cover
WARNING:
without a drive belt cover or with a defective
drive belt cover. Make sure that the drive
belt cover is installed and attached correctly
before you start the product.
The drive belt cover gives protection from the pulleys
and the drive belt.
To do a check of the drive belt cover
• Make sure that the drive belt cover is not damaged
or has cracks. Replace the drive belt cover if it is
necessary.
• Make sure that the 2 screws of the drive belt cover
are installed and correctly tightened.

Safety instructions for maintenance

• Keep all parts in good condition and make sure that
all fixtures are correctly tightened.
• Do not use a product that is defective. Do the safety
checks, maintenance and the servicing as given in
this manual. All other maintenance work must be
done by an approved service agent.
• Stop the motor and disconnect the power plug when
you replace the diamond tools.
• Do the inspection and/or maintenance with the motor
stopped and the power plug disconnected.
• Do the maintenance to make sure that the product
operates correctly. Refer to
on page 22 .
