Now you can plug in the USB-adaptor cable in a free USB-port of your computer. Windows will
install the driver automatically.
You must now find out, which COM-port Windows has used for the USB connection. You find
this in the device manager of windows. Right click on My-Computer select Properties and then
Hardware and Device-Manager. Or use the control panel of Windows to open the device mana-
ger..
Now select System and the tab „Hardware".
The device manager shows a screen like the following one.
