How to Disconnect a Gas Cylinder
• Except for twin-cylinder installations with a changeover valve, turn off the gas tap
if fi tted to the appliance. Wait until the burner and pilot light have gone out. For
installations with a changeover valve, it is only necessary to switch off the empty
cylinder.
• Replace the orange safety cap onto the empty cylinder.

Notes on Commissioning
• Place your gas grill on a safe level surface, away from infl ammable items such as
wooden fences or overhanging tree branches. Never use your gas grill indoors!
• Always test all gas connections for leaks after connecting the gas cylinder using
soapy water. Turn off the gas cylinder valve if there is a gas leak. If the leak persists,
contact the manufacturer or customer service.
Notes on operation
• Be prepared if an accident or fi re should occur. Know where the fi rst aid kit and fi re
extinguishers are and know how to use them. Keep a fi re extinguisher handy.
• Keep any electrical supply cord and the fuel supply hose away from any heated
surfaces.
• The top lid must always be open when lighting the burner.
• Once lit do not move your gas grill or leave it unattended.
• The gas grill will become hot when in use, so handle lids etc. with the help of gloves.
• Assessable parts may be very hot, Keep young children away!
WARNUNG
Risk of burns! The handle black area (see below picture for reference)
will become hot when the gas grill in use, be careful! Do not touch the
black area.
• Use oven gloves and sturdy, long handled gas grill tools when cooking on the grill.
• Always proceed with the greatest care when grilling.
• Do not heat any unopened glass or metal container of food on the grill. Pressure
may build up and cause the container to burst, possibly resulting in serious personal
injury or damage to the grill.
• Turn off the gas supply at the gas cylinder after each use.
