5.3.1 Assembly of the bypass magnetic switch on the magnet display
The magnet switch is fastened to the magnet display of the bypass level
indicator using slot nuts.
1. Loosen fastening screws on the magnetic switch using an SW 3 mm Al-
len wrench by approx. 1 turn.
2. Slide the slot nut(s) into the guide slot of the magnetic roller display
from the top or the bottom.
3. Push the magnetic switch to the height of the desired switching point
and fasten by tightening the screws (the switching point is specified on
the type plate).
The magnetic switch can be fastened optionally on both sides of the mag-
netic rolling - level indicator. To do this, attach the slot nut on the opposite
side of the switch. Assembly ex works is done on the right side of the by-
pass level indicator.
In the case of the assembly of multiple magnetic switches on the bypass
level indicator it is recommend to fasten them alternating on both sides of
the magnetic rolling display. This ensure that every desired switch height
can be set.

Note for Ex devices
Prior to later attachment of a BGU, with approval, to a by-
pass level indicator it is important to ensure that this com-
bination is permitted. In the event of a violation the EU
type examination certificate shall expire!
The operator must ensure that the permitted ambient
temperature of the device at the installation site is not
exceeded using appropriate measures.
Attention!
The BGU-A magnetic switch is designed for attachment
on the right side of the magnetic display. In the event of
assembly on the left side the switching function turns
around. The switch must then be mounted upside down
(type plate is upside down).
