Marking of the fall arrest and retaining eyelets:
Marking of the fall arrest eyelet (2) in the chest area. In order to use both D-rings as fall arrest eyelet according
to EN361, they must be connected with a karabiner according to EN362. Then the necessary equipment for a fall
arrest system according to EN363 may only be hooked into the karabiner.
The marking "A" for the fall arrest eyelet (1) in the back area is stamped in the plastic sheets.
6.2 Correct putting on and size adjustment
(1) rear fall arrester eyelet – textile ring
(2) front fall arrester eyelet – 2 aluminium D-rings must be connected with a
karabiner.

Putting on:
Get an overview by lifting the full body harness by the fall arrest eyelet (1). Open the
chest lock (B). Open the adjustable buckles (E) on the thigh loops sufficiently to
make stepping in easy. Take the full body harness by the connecting loops f. and
step into the thigh loops as into trousers. Put on the shoulder strap like a jacket.
Close the chest lock (B).
Size adjustment:
It is essential for the user's safety that a full body harness is properly adjusted in size. A full body harness should fit tightly to the
body, however without limiting free movement of the body or exerting compression on it. A full body harness without integrated seat
harness must be adjusted differently from a full body harness in a system for rope assisted access with integrated seat harness.
Full body harnesses in fall arrest systems require a closer-fitting adjustment to the body size, because the full body harness slips on
the body in case of a fall. If full body harness is used in a system for rope assisted access, more care has to be taken on c omfort,
because the user sits or leans in the system.
The dorsal fall arrest eyelet (1) in the back area of the full body harness ERGO must be between the shoulder blades and the
sternal fall arrest eyelet (2) in the front chest area must be at the lower end of the sternum. Use the adjustable buckles (A), (C) and
D to adapt the dorsal fall arrest eyelet (1) and the sternal fall arrest eyelet (2).
The adjustable buckles (E) are provided for adjusting the thigh loops.
Further care has to be taken that the completely put on full body harness ERGO fits the body symmetrically with all loose strap
ends secured and that no straps and/or components are twisted.
Before using it for the first time, wearing comfort and adjustability should be checked in a protected area and a safe place. Thereby
it must be ensured that a full body harness, a work positioning belt or a seat harness is the right size, providing sufficient adjustment
possibilities and an adequate level of comfort for the intended use.
