Installation of the rear wheel

Installing the rear wheel happens in the exact reverse order of removal.
The following points have to be taken into consideration:
Torque support (torque bracket washer) has to be reinstalled
alongside the rear wheel. The torque support washer needs to be
positioned towards the open end of the dropouts while lying
inside of the dropout. Forgetting or simply not reinstalling the torque
support might cause the motor to twist the rear axle which might result in
serious damage or hard falls.
Tighten the wheel nuts properly at all times (s. table Tightening Torque).
Loose wheels are a significant risk for safety and security.
Do not forget to unlock the locking system (1) on your rear
derailleur by slightly pushing the lever forward and then releasing
it backwards again. Else there is not enough tension on the chain
which might result in falls.

Adjusting the brakes

A significant prerequisite for a safe riding is a proper adjustment for the
brakes. Never ride your TEN Merano, if a brake is not working or is not
properly adjusted. If you are not equipped with the skills necessary to
adjust your brakes yourself, please have them adjusted by your service
partner or local Coboc dealer.

Testing the brakes

Push your TEN Merano forward while pulling the rear wheel brake firmly.
The rear wheel should be blocked by the brake. Doing this with the front
wheel brake should have your rear wheel lifting off the ground. Steering
should not have any clearance or rattle while performing this test. Both
brake levers should not be pulled through more than half way.
Maintainance & Care

Aligning your brake caliper

You can minimize or fix a grinding of your brake disc by realigning your
brake caliper. Should your brake disc be deformed due to external impact
however, you need to have your brake disc exchanged. Please contact
your local Coboc dealer for that.
You can align your brake caliper by loosening both screws (6). The slots
within the caliper enable for an alignment with the brake disc on the
frame's post mount or on the post mount adapter on the fork. Make sure
that the wheel is installed in the correct position to do so.
Now you can align the caliper in a way that has it running centered be-
tween both brake pads while not having any contact with them. Make sure
that the caliper does not move when screwing it back in.
Alternatively, you can also try to align your brake caliper over the disc by
pulling the brake lever. The brake pistons make contact with the disc via
the brake pads and align the loosely screwed-on brake caliper in the cen-
ter above the brake disc. With the brake pulled, you should now tighten
the screws (6) again and make sure that the caliper does not move again.
Bear in mind the according torque when tightening the screws (6) (s. table
Tightening Torque).
An incorrectly tightened brake caliper can lead to a total failure of
the brake system. A fall with bad consequences could be the
result. If you are unsure about the correct function or assembly of
your brake system, do not ride your Coboc bike anymore and have it
checked by a Coboc dealer.
