applicable for operation and other generally recog-
nised occupational therapy and safety technique
regulations. Any other use is considered a use in
confl ict with the designation. The manufacturer will
not be held liable for any consequential damage of
any type: the risk will be borne by the user.
Optional changes to the saw exclude the liability
of the manufacturer for consequential damage of
any type.
The saw may only be made ready, used and
maintained by persons familiarised with such acts
and instructed in possible risks. Repairs may only be
executed by us or by customer services specifi ed by
us. The machine must not be used in an explosion-
risk environment and must not be exposed to rain.
Metal parts (nails, etc.) must necessarily be removed
from the material cut.
Safe removal of possible blocking
Switch the engine off and wait until the circular saw
blade stops.
Check it and localise the blocking.
Remove the blocking while considering all safety
instructions.
Check the machine visually and make sure it is not
damaged. In particular, the saw blade must not show
any sign of damage.
Contact the Technical Assistance (see Servicing) if
there is any doubt regarding the blocking removal or
full operability.

Maintenance

Switch the engine off and remove the socket plug
before any work on the engine. Wait until all rotating
parts have stopped and the appliance has cooled
down.
Check all screw and plug-in connections and pro-
tective equipment if fi rm and tightened properly
and whether all moving parts are running smooth
whenever the appliance is to be put into operation.
Prior to every use, visually check the machine to
rule out any defects.
Keep the appliance, especially the tank and engine,
clean at all times.
The sawdust ejection and/or dust exhauster should
be cleaned at regular intervals. Never spray water on
the machine!
All moving parts should be treated with environmen-
tal-friendly oil. Never use any grease!
Check the wear of the saw blade. Blunt saw blades
must be sharpened. Clean saw blades covered with
resin.
The ball bearings of the saw shaft are protected
against dust and are therefore service-free, i.e. the
bearings need not be lubricated.
Repairs and works specifi ed in these Instructions may
only be performed by qualifi ed authorised staff .
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance
can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insuffi cient mainte-
nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and
injuries.
Deactivation and disposal
If the machine can no longer be used and it is to be
disposed, it must be deactivated and disassembled, i.e.
it must be put to a state in which it may not be used for
purposes for which it has been designed. The process
of disposal must consider the recovery of basic materi-
als of the machine. These materials can be potentially
reused in the recycling process. The manufacturer re-
jects any liability for any personal or property damage
incurred as a result of reuse of parts of the machine if
such parts are used for purpose other than the original
respective purpose. Machine deactivation: Each pro-
cess of deactivation or disposal must be performed by
staff trained for this purpose.
The machine is disintegrated into parts.
Block each moving part of the machine.
Each machine element should be delivered to
certifi ed collection centres.
Rubber parts should be removed from the machine
and delivered to a rubber parts collection centre.
There is no other residual risk after deactivation and
blocking of the moving parts.
Electrical structural elements are a special waste and
need to be disposed separately from the machine.
Approved extinguishers (e.g. powder extinguisher)
need to be used in case of fi re of the electrical
equipment of the machine.
