ATTENTION: This checklist is NOT a substitute for the exact passage of the contents in this manual! Although it can be used as a quick start
guide, we strongly recommend that you read the instructions carefully before use.
•
Always switch on the transmitter first
•
Make sure the throttle stick is in the low position before the battery is connected.
•
Brain the model to fly (by hand pushing or lifting off a flat / flat surface)
•
Load the model on a flat / flat surface
•
Remove the battery from the regulator
•
Always switch the transmitter off
6.3 Suitable Flying Fields
Due to the size and weight of the model, it is seen as a "Parkflyer". It is therefore recommended to fly the model in a park, schoolyard or
other area that is large enough and that no persons or structures are in the way. We recommend an airfield size of at least one soccer field.
The larger the area, the better, especially when flying is first learned. DO NOT fly on parking lots or areas where many people are located.
We also recommend flying over lawns, since in the event of a crash
less damage will occur on this surface. Short lawns are better suited
to take off or land, as long lawns can cause an overrun and damage
to the model can occur. An ideal airfield provides smooth surfaces for
launch and landing (e.g. asphalt) and lawns to fly over.
PLEASE NOTE: The plane should only be flown outside!
24
The ideal center of gravity is 77 ± 5 mm behind the front edge,
measured at the point where the wing meets the hull. The focus
has a great effect on the model flight. If the center of gravity
is too far back (backward), the model will react too easily and
be difficult to control. If the center of gravity is too far forward
(overlapping), the model is too stable and not responsive
enough. To get the specified center of gravity, either add weight
to the fuselage or move the battery position. Check the center
of gravity before flying.
Fly on expansive surface without obstacles and bushes. Never fly
the airplane close to a motorway, train tracks, power lines, people
gathering, flight or residential areas.
