15 Transport and
commissioning
The device has been assembled, configured and
tested at the factory.
DANGER
Danger to life from electric shock
Touching live parts can be fatal.
a) To move the heater to another location, switch
it off at the device switches and disconnect the
power plug.
b) Never pull the device by the mains plug and
always carry it using the carry handle.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from burns on hot surfaces
During operation, the protective grille might become
hot, causing burns. Particular caution is required at
places where children or persons with a physical,
sensory or mental disability are present.
a) Wear protective gloves.
b) If children or persons with a physical, sensory
or mental disability are present near the device,
supervise them closely.
Unpacking
a) Open the packaging at the top.
b) Check the delivery for completeness.
Report any transport damage or incomplete de-
livery to your dealer.
c) Dispose of the packaging according to the ap-
plicable statutory regulations.
d) Make sure that the power cord is not damaged.
Installing device
Mount the device heat on the housing base. The
necessary parts and screws are included in the
packaging and must be mounted prior to switching
on the device for the first time.

a) Secure the feet to the housing, using the sup-
plied screws.
b) Place the end caps on the feet.
Installing device on site
When installing the device, please observe the fol-
lowing:
– Transport the device using the carry handle.
– For best performance, the device should be op-
erated in closed rooms.
– There should be no objects between the device
and the item to be heated.
– Keep the device away from loose objects, includ-
ing curtains, etc.
– The device must be in a stable position so that it
cannot topple over or roll away during operation.
Connection
a) To connect up the device, insert the mains plug
into a suitable socket.
b) Strictly adhere to all instructions in the Operat-
ing conditions [ 18] are adhered to.
