11.
REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
The safety information from the section 2 "Safety must be observed.
DANGER!
The components of machines and systems are recyclable materials. They must be reintroduced into the recycling
process as per the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU.
Batteries are subject to the European Battery Directive (2006/66/EC). This contains regulations etc. for selling,
collecting, processing and recycling batteries.
Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a symbol showing a crossed-out bin and the chemical
symbol (Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury or PB = lead) for the heavy metal that is decisive for the rating as a harmful
substance. Batteries with a low content of harmful substances have only a crossed-out bin.
Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
Return batteries to the retailer or to a recycling point.
DANGER!
Battery-powered lifting magnets should not be disposed of as a single unit, but disassembled and recycled as indi-
vidual parts. Non-recyclable materials must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Before disassembling and disposing of the battery-powered lifting magnet, switch off the lifting magnet and
secure it against reactivation. Disconnect and remove the battery of the lifting magnet.
Disassembly and removal of the battery-powered lifting magnet may only be carried out by a qualified specialist.
Dispose of the components of the lifting magnets in accordance with the applicable country-specific regulations.
Risk of crushing!
There is a risk of crushing limbs from tipping over or falling of the lifting
magnets during removal of the magnets.
Persons may only be present outside of the hazard area. Do not stand
under suspended loads!
Secure the lifting magnets and system parts against falling or tipping
over.
Only use sufficiently large load attachment devices for transport.
When lifting the lifting magnets, only use suitable and approved lifting
gear which is designed for the weight of the lifting magnet.
Do not use any magnetic lifting devices!

Risk of electric shock!

An electric shock can result in death or serious injuries.
Disconnect the lifting magnet from the power supply. To do this, unplug
the supply cable from the power supply socket on the front cover of the
battery-powered lifting magnet.
Disconnect the battery of the lifting magnet before disassembly.
