8.1

Maintenance and inspection plan, service schedule

The maintenance plan has to include appropriate measures that include inspections, overhaul and tests.
The frequency of the daily, weekly and monthly checks refers to operation of the device in single-shift operation (8
hours). If the application conditions deviate, the maintenance frequency has to be increased in line with the usage
frequency.

Measure
Check warning, signalling and safety
devices
Check supporting elements
Check labels for legible condition
Check for corrosion
Check the lifting eye (max. 10 % of
the original cross-section)
Check functional surfaces for wear
(max. 10 % of the surface area)
Structural tear-off test
Check condition of 12 V DC battery;
check battery contacts
Electrical equipment – check buttons,
position sensor of the eye
The annual acceptance test can be carried out here at SAV upon return of the device.
