Ni-Cad batteries can be recycled. Drop them off at
a disposal center forchemical wastes, so that they
can be recycled or disposed of in an eco-friendly
manner.
Faulty and/or discarded electrical or electronic
apparatus have to be collected at the appropriate
recycling locations.
When using power tools, you must observe the
follwing basic safety precautions in order to ensure
protection from electric shocks, injury and fire.

Remove the battery block. When the power tool is
not being used, prior to maintenance and when
changing tools such as the clamping chuck, and drill.

If you come into contact with acid from the battery
block, rinse it off with water immediately. If acid gets
into your eyes, rinse out your eyes at
once with water and contact a doctor immediately!
