4. Individual unit components

4.1 Recirculation pump

High-efficiency recirculation pump, type Grundfos
UPMXL 25-125 (25-105) 180 AUTO, speed controlled
• The pump has an integrated motor protection device
to prevent overheating
• Depending on the model, various modes can be se-
lected:
• The pump is controlled internally with three propor-
tional pressure curves and three constant pressure/
performance curves that are selected via the user
interface
Note: The information provided by the pump manu-
facturer must be observed (see the separate printed
matter)!
Operation
A selection can be made from among 6 curves in two
operating modes:
• Three proportional pressure curves (PP)
• Three constant pressure/performance curves (CP).
Factory setting
Proportional pressure curve, PP2:
• Press the key for two seconds:
• The pump switches to setting mode
The LED starts flashing.
• The setting changes with every press of the button:
• When LEDs 1-2-3 are permanently on, the control curve and mode have been altered
Flashing mode
Fast: Proportional pressure

Slow: Constant pressure/performance
•
If the knob is not pressed after 10 seconds:
•
The settings are accepted
•
The pump switches back to operation
