2. Functional description

LogoCool units are a new generation of residential units for the transfer of cooling energy into
homes, apartments and commercial buildings. LogoCool meets the requirements concerning
efficient and easy use because of the continuously adjustable primary flow rate setting and thus the
primary energy setting of the Ballorex Dynamic (pressure-independent regulation valve).
The unique design of the hybrid housing means that there is effective shielding from the ambient
conditions (temperature and air humidity) in the area of use.

Use:
Compact transfer unit for cooling capacities up to 24 kW for cold water systems

Unit as interface for central comfort cooling
•
For controlling cold water provision of e.g. individual apartments
•
Functions:
An indirect system that separates the circuits via a plate heat exchanger
•
Works with a pressure-independent control valve (flow rate controller with actuator)
•
The pump supplies the secondary circuit
•
The multi-shell, closed external housing (hybrid housing) acts as thermal insulation and thus
•
prevents condensation within the unit
Optional use of a cold meter
