In case you are using an older version of UCCNC, you will find a file called Screensetinst.exe. Open the file with
administrator privileges and follow the directions within the installation in order to install the laser profile.
Using the new shortcut on your desktop
to open UCCNC will automatically show
you an additional window – the laser
plugin.

4.5 Third Party Software

If you wish to use software not created or sold by STEPCRAFT, make sure to check its compatibility with your system
prior to its first application. This applies to software like „Image2gcode". If you have any questions, please contact the
manufacturer of the software.

5 Operation

5.1 Commissioning and Safe Operation

The machine and all connected components have to be wired correctly and be in perfect condition.
The operator must have completely read and understood the entire documentation of the, CNC machine, the Laser DL445
and corresponding instructions. Furthermore, the operator has to be familiar with the use of CNC gantry milling systems
and CNC software. The workplace needs to be compliant with the applicable regulations and provisions of the respective
industry. Always keep a properly maintained and inspected fire extinguisher on hand. STEPCRAFT recommends a Halot-
ron fire extinguisher or a multi-purpose dry chemical fire extinguisher.
Always be sure that the brushes of the laser head touch the surface of your workpiece. Otherwise scattered
radiation will be able to escape the work area. Never touch the brushes in any way during operation (control LED on).
