The power cord must only be served by a STEPCRAFT service facility to avoid the risk of injury to the user.
The power supply has to be connected to the CNC machine before it is connected to the power grid. Other-
wise there is a chance of damaging the electronics of your CNC machine.
If you use any third party products such as e.g. another controller, you are responsible yourself to connect
the Emergency-Stop switch professionally with your controller. Otherwise, there is a risk for
personal and material damages!

Disconnect the plug of the machine and the power tool from the power source before making any adjust-
ments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Otherwise, there is a risk of electrocution and the
machine accidentally starting.
Do not alter or misuse the tool. Any alteration or modification is a misuse and may result in serious personal
injury.
This product is controlled by a computer. During operation, it cannot be controlled directly. Lack of caution
or expertise as well as program errors can lead to unexpected movements and personal injuries or damage.
Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or
these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
The power tool has to be controlled by a control software of a CNC router. Therefore, the Control Unit of the
power tool has to be properly connected to the external output of the main board of the CNC router via a
15-pin Sub-D cable. Prior to each commissioning of the power tool the ON/OFF, speed and Emergency Stop
Switch functionality has to be checked. Malfunction may result in serious personal injury.
Do not allow familiarity gained from frequent use of your product to become common-place. Always remem-

ber that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict severe injury.
Do not force the laser tool. Use the correct feed and power for your application. The correct laser tool will do

the job better and safer at a rate that is specifically fit to the workpiece material.
Please always keep these instructions nearby the machine. You should always have them readily to hand

when you want to look up something.
Check before each use of your machine if it is supplied with current and if required if the compressed air is

working perfectly.
Check if the individual components are perfectly connected with each other before the first commissioning

and in regular intervals later on.
Each operator must operate the machine and its components with due prudence and due expertise which is

necessary for the use of CNC controlled milling machines.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the appliance switch is in the OFF position (0) before connecting the
power tool to the power supply respectively to the main board of the CNC router, picking it up or carrying the

tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools with the switch on invites
accidents.
Do not use the power tool if the switch cannot be turned ON and / or OFF. Any power tool that cannot be

controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Use the power tool, accessories and end mills etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into ac-
NOTICE count the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different
from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
