Notes for operation of electronic ballasts
"End of life" behaviour of lamps
The luminaire is equipped with an electronic ballast with EOL disconnection.
The lamps are switched off when the end of life is reached. This makes it necessary to
replace the lamps.
We recommend timely replacement of the lamps according to the specifications of the re-
spective lamp manufacturer!
10.2 Troubleshooting
Faults
What if:
the luminaire is not lit when connected to the mains?
Is the lamp correctly inserted?
Is the lamp defective?
Is the ballast defective?
Is the switch defective?
Has the EB safety shutdown responded due to defective/used lamps?
Did you do a "Reset" (voltage disconnection) after safety shutdown on the EB?
Then the device can be restarted.
Is the luminaire sealed according to regulations?
11 Maintenance and repair
11.1 Maintenance
Danger due to live components!
Risk of fatal injuries!
All connections and wiring must be disconnected from the power supply.
Secure the connections against unauthorized switching.
Consult the relevant national regulations to determine the type and extent of
inspections.
Plan the intervals so that any defects in the equipment which may be anticipated are
promptly detected.
