8.2 Mounting / dismounting / operating position
Wall mounting must be performed with the central lock directed downwards.
Outdoors, the mounting position with light emission upwards is not allowed.
These luminaires are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor use, we
recommend to install a 8162/1 breather by R.STAHL Schaltgeräte GmbH. The breather
guarantees compliance with degree of protection IP64 in all mounting positions.
The maximum ambient temperature must not be exceeded by
external heat sources.
Observe the safety instructions for mounting:
temperature of use/temperature class/surface temperature
possible for Zones 1 and 2, and 21 and 22
degree of protection (cable glands)
Damage to the luminaire endangers the Ex protection!
