1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply (unplug).
2. Open the doors of the appliance (appliance in upright position) and remove the
glass shelves, door trays, drawers, etc.
3. Close the doors.
4. Remove the top door hinge cover (1) carefully using a flat bladed screwdriver (s.
fig. below); observe the direction of the arrow!

5. Unscrew the top door hinge (2) using a Phillips screwdriver (s. fig. below).
Meanwhile, hold the fridge door with your hand so it cannot drop down.
