Test Run & Fault Code

Before test run

• Before switching on the unit, test the supply terminal tier (L, N terminals) and grounding points with 500V megaohm
meter and check if the resistance is above 1MΩ. The unit cannot be operated if it is below1MΩ.
• Connect the unit to the power supply of the outdoor units to energize the heating belt of the compressor. To protect the
compressor at start-up, power it on 12 hours prior to theoperation.
• Review the test run procedures in the outdoor unit and ensure that the outdoor unit has been properly installed
according to the instructions in the outdoor manual.
Check that all piping has been installed, connected and insulation in accordance with the instructions provided
in the manual.
check if the mains voltage matches
check if there is leakage at the piping joints
check if the connections of mains power and indoor &
outdoor units are correct
check if the serial numbers of the terminals match
check if the installation place meets requirements
Test run method
• Ask the installation personnel to conduct a test run. Conduct the testing procedures according to the manual and check
if the temperature regulator works properly.
• When the machine fails to start due to the room temperature, the following procedures can be undertaken to conduct
compulsive running. This function is not provided for the type with remote control.
• Set the wired controller to cooling/heating mode, press 'ON/OFF' button for 5 seconds to enter into the compulsive
cooling/heating mode. Press the 'ON/OFF' button again to quit compulsive running and stop the operation of the air
conditioner.
Fault remedies
• When any fault appears, consult the fault code of the wired control or the flashing times for LED5 on the indoor unit
board, and find the faults as shown in the following table to troubleshoot.
