Safety
• The air conditioner cannot be used for preservation of food, living creatures, precise instrument
an dart works,etc.,or unwarranted otherwise damages could occur.
• Use a fuse that has adequate capacity.
Metal wires and copper wires may lead to fire or other hazards.
• Donot place a water heater and other similar heating instruments adjacent to the indoor unit and the wired
controller. Water/ power leak ageand shortcircuit could occur, if a steam generating apparatus is operating
in the vicinity of the air conditioner.
• Defrosting while heating
To improve the heating function, the outdoor unit defrosts automatically when frost appears on the unit while it is
in the heating mode (approximately 2 to10 min).
During defrosting, the fan of the indoor unit runs at a low speed or stops while that of the outdoor unit stops
running altogether.
• The air conditioner should be powered off when it is left unused for a longperiod, or electricity will unnecessarily
be consumed.
• The power switch of the outdoor unit should be powered on 12 hours in advance of using the unit, so as to
protect it from the adverse effects of long durations of storage.
• 3-minute rule
To ensure that the unit functions well, the compressor can be switched on at a 3-minute interval after the unit is
powered off.
• The windows need to be shut so as to avoid outdoor air inform entering the premises.
Curtains or window shutters can be shut to avoid excess sunshine.
• Do not touch the switch using a wet hand to avoid attaining electricshocks.
• Turn off the manual power switch when cleaning theunit.
• While using the control unit, don't turn off the manual power switch. Please do not touch the
liquid crystal zone of the controller, so as to avoid inadvertent damages.
• Cleaning the unit using water may cause electricshocks.
• Do not use a flammable spray in the vicinity of the air conditioner.
• Don't spray any flammable substances in the direction of the air conditioner, in order to avoid fire accidents.
• Stopping the fan rotation
The unit which stops operating will actuate the fan for a 2-8 min swing every 30-60 minutes for protecting the unit
while other indoor units are in the operating state.
• This appliance is not intended for use by children, those with unusual physical, sensory,and mental capabilities,
or by those who lack experience and knowledge about the product, unless they are under adult supervision.
