appliance lid (15) is properly closed when operating the speaker near water. Containers filled with
liquids, for example vases or drinks, should never be placed on or near the speaker.

• always take hold of all cables by the plug and do not pull on the cable itself. Do not place any

connect it with other cables.

This speaker can be used by children aged eight and over, as well as by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or who lack experience and knowledge, provided they are
supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the speaker and understand the resulting
dangers. Children must not play with the speaker. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
carried out by children unless they are supervised. Therefore, also keep the packaging film
away from children. The packaging material is not a toy.

Repair work is required if the speaker has been damaged, for example, the speaker housing is
damaged, liquids or objects have got inside the speaker, or if the speaker has been exposed to rain
or moisture. To prevent moisture damage, make sure that the appliance lid (15) is properly closed
when cleaning the device. Repair work is also required if the device does not work properly or has
been dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or smells, immediately switch off the speaker
and unplug any cables that may be connected to the device. If this happens, you must stop using the
speaker until it has been checked by a specialist. All repair work should only be carried out by
qualified specialists. Clean the device using a clean, dry cloth and never use abrasive liquids. Never
open the housing of the speaker, as there are no parts inside the speaker that require maintenance.
Furthermore, opening the housing will void your guarantee.

6.1 Operating environment

The speaker is suitable for outdoor use and is protected against temporary immersion in water when
the connection socket appliance lid is closed (15). Only charge the device in dry environments.
