•
Do not blend hot or even warm food. For operation, the jars are closed airtight
by the blade assembly. There is no venting for steam to be released.
•
Avoid blending longer than required to reach the desired consistency. Do let the
motor agitate for more than 1 minute continuously. Otherwise, the ingredients in the
jar may become warm. Thus the internal pressure may increase. This will affect the
seals and make it difficult to open the jar after operation. Additionally, the contents
of the jar may splash when opened. Allow the jar to cool down and open carefully.
•
Do not use the stainless steel grinding jar for any type of liquid ingredients. The
grinding jar must be used dry.
•
Do not process more than 1/3 - 1/2 cup at a time in the grinding jar, to get an
even result.
•
When grinding nuts, it is recommended to only process to a meal consistency.
The grinding jar is not suitable to make nut butters.
•
With the transparent jars, always add liquids for optimum blending. If the ingre-
dients do not circulate during blending, add some more liquid.
•
If the results are lumpy, try reducing the amount and blending in batches.
•
If foods are thick, operate the appliance in pulses. For this, twist the jar to start
and stop the motor as needed. This will help the ingredients to circulate.
•
Do not exceed the MAX filling levels of the jars.
•
When crushing ice, do not fill in more than 4 ice cubes derived from a standard
ice tray at a time. This applies to frozen fruit also. Cut fruits into cubes of 2 cm at the
maximum, before freezing.
