• In the base of the blade assembly, there is a silicone gasket seal ensuring an air-
tight fit with the jars. The gasket seal may become loose during cleaning and food
may stick to the gasket seal due to operation. Thus, after cleaning and always before
twisting on the jar, ensure that the gasket seal is properly in place and clean. Do
not attempt to operate the appliance with the jar and blade assembly not properly
assembled and/or with the jar leaking to avoid risk of injuries and damage!
• Always wipe off spilled liquids immediately. If liquids run out or are spilled on the
motor base, immediately unplug the appliance and remove the jar from the motor
base. However, DO NOT remove the jar from the motor base while the
appliance is still running.
• Do not process hot or even warm food to avoid increase of pressure within the jar.
Always leave hot food cool down before filling it into the jar.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended, when it is connected to the power supply.
Always unplug the appliance, before moving, or cleaning the appliance, or when
the appliance is not in use. Always hold the housing at both sides near the bottom
