Problem
The Jar is leaking.
The appliance does not
turn off when removing
the jar.

The blade assembly or
the lid is not installed
correctly. Leaking may
occur, if it is misaligned
when twisted onto the
jar.
The gasket seal is not
properly in place.
Residues of food are on
the gasket seal or brim
of the jar.
This is a severe problem. Immediately unplug the appliance and call your
The Solution
Install the blade assembly or lid according to the instructions
in section 'Assembling the Appliance'. The blade assembly or
lid may not be tilted.
Ensure that the gasket seal at the base of the blade assem-
bly is inserted properly. See: 'Assembling the Appliance'.
Before closing the jar, ensure that the gasket seal and the
brim of the jar are completely clean.
