7. Assembly
Only a few commonly used screwdrivers and
keys are necessary for assembly; these are
included in the delivery package.
There is a holder on the back of the stand for
keeping the dividing line adjustment key.

Caution!
Unscrew the transit protection screws (3.1) on
the underneath of the comparison bridge and
screw them into the threads provided for safe-
keeping (3.2) (parking position).

7.1 Comparison bridge

• From above, set the comparison bridge onto
the dovetail guide and push the bridge down-
wards until the upper end of the dovetail guide
is fl ush.
• Fasten the comparison bridge using the side
clamping screw.

7.2 Illumination

If available:
• To accommodate the illuminator, assemble the
rotating mechanism with articulated arm (Fig.
4) to the stage.
