9.4 Universal
rotating mechanism
The rotating mechanism (order No. 581 088)
(Fig. 52) consists of a stage plate, which can be
mounted directly onto the cross-stage, and an
articulated illumination arm, which allows you to
rotate the illumination around the specimen.
Either the inclining rotating stage ø 75 mm or the
universal slide holder can be installed on the ro-
tating plate..

9.5 Light panels

For homogeneous illumination of larger speci-
mens, you can use the light panels (Fig. 53a, 53b).
The light panel (Fig. 53a) comes with an articu-
lated arm which can be attached to the universal
object holder or the stage bracket.
Alternatively, the light panel shown in Fig. 53b
can be used with the cold light illuminator and a
fi ber optic guide.
