9.7 Further illumination options

As well as the LED spot light (→ p. 14) and the
light panels (→ p. 31) there are many other illumi-
nation options.
LED illumination
• LED power spot with one LED (3.5 W)
• LED spot with 19 LEDs
• LED ring illuminator (Fig. 57) with partial switch-
ing of the LED segments for close-up vertical
illumination
To set the intensity of the illumination, refer to the
separate "LED Controller Coolcontrol" manual
provided.
UV illumination
The UV ring illuminator is available for UV illumi-
nation.

Cold light illumination
The cold light illuminator, e.g. KL2500 LCD (Fig. 56)
can be installed next to the stand or on a mount-
ing plate that is screwed onto the base of the
Comparison Macroscope.
The illumination is provided via a two-arm fl exible
fi ber optic guide.
The cold light illuminator is controlled by the ro-
tary knobs (56.2).
