4 Installation
1. Unpacking
On unpacking, check the sensor for possible mechanical damage of the glass elements, the O-rings and the Vario-
Pin (VP) connector. Report any damage to your METTLER TOLEDO supplier.
2. Installation into an Eldon James bag port

CAUTION: Do not clean the sensor glass elements with water, solvents or any other cleaning tools!

CAUTION: Removal or partial destruction of the protective Kollidon
InSUS 310 pH and an InSUS 307 XSL sensor must be prevented during sensor handling!

NOTICE: 1" Eldon James ports are available in different polymer materials. For a leak proof sensor installation
METTLER TOLEDO offers InSUS sensors with different O-ring configurations. If in doubt please contact METTLER
TOLEDO at insus@mt.com.
