6 Replacement of the AC Power Controller Assembly
3. Check the position and counter-pressure of the choke contacts. Tip: The choke contacts are
movable and it must be possible to push in the extracted contacts.
If a contact protrudes and does not yield, the inverter must be replaced.
4. Clean the supporting surfaces in the enclosure. To do so, use isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free
cloth.
5. Carefully remove the power assembly (AST) upwards out of the packaging. When doing so,
ensure that the thermally conductive plastic is not damaged or contaminated.
6. On the rear side of the power assembly (AST), check the pattern of thermally conductive
plastic for damages and impurities.
7. If the pattern of thermally conductive plastic on the
rear side of the power assembly (AST) shows
evidence of damage, the power assembly (AST)
must be replaced. If small impurities (see image) are
present, these can be carefully removed using a
pointed tool. The pattern must not be destroyed
when doing so.
